HOUSTON - Spotters say Tesla's Houston Robotaxi lot looked fuller than ever on Sept. 19, with validation Model Ys, validation Cybercabs, and at least roughly 70 Cybercabs packing the yard in what Robotaxi Radar described as more than a handful of test units staged for deployment.
Aryan Butala posted video of the lot that afternoon under the caption "Houston Cybercab/Robotaxi lot is packed today!" The clip pans from an elevated vantage over a fenced, barbed-wire compound with white trailers and people moving among dense rows of sand-gold Cybercabs beside clusters of Model Ys, set against a bright midday suburban and commercial backdrop.
Robotaxi Radar quote-posted the video and wrote that the Houston lot held validation Model Ys, validation Cybercabs, and at least about 70 Cybercabs. A Driverless.news review of the same clip shows roughly 50 to 60-plus gold Cybercabs in tight rows, on the order of 20 to 30 Model Ys (mostly Ultra Red, with some black and white), and at least two white Model Ys near the trailers wearing bulky roof sensor rigs that read as validation or staging hardware. Tesla has not issued an official confirmation of the count or of any Cybercab passenger launch timing tied to the lot.

Tesla Oracle separately covered the same sighting on Sept. 20, framing the packed yard as a possible prelude to a Cybercab service push in Houston, where Tesla already runs a geofenced Robotaxi operation on Model Ys. That outlet also noted Houston's service area remains smaller than Austin's and Dallas's. Spotter video is not a company announcement. What the footage does show is a busy Houston depot with Cybercabs and instrumented Model Ys staged together at a scale that local watchers say they have not seen before.
